Counseling grieving woman who smiled when she realized her dog's ashes would be spread in the forest. Too emotional for me to keep my composure - several minutes of tears before putting a tiny yorkie puppy on the scale - 2.5 lbs. of bounciness.
Friend and coworker who has compassionately helped thousands of cats and dogs to the other side, struggling for an entire day to avoid the inevitable for her gravely ill pomeranian and best friend. Many more tears and hugs when the end came. I'm emotionally exhausted.
