I got another lesson in blogging from Stef tonight - I finally found the Options tab - I couldn't see it cuz I didn't have my blog window big enough. Now it's better. Thanks, Stef.
Work's work - but fun and very productive. I'm not in the clinic much at all these days while we're trying to get the accounting office running smoothly. I don't know if I'll ever get back to the clinic - the new bookkeeper guy seems really content if I do the payables, payroll, receivables, and collections - it seems that I'm once again in that position where the more work I do the more money someone else gets. It's hard for me not to get a bad attitude - but I'll try to be patient and hope something changes for the better.
The doggies are all sleeping - only Sage on the bed though, cuz with the new mattress so tall he's the only one who can jump up that high. I tried to teach Lucky and Tipper how to first jump on the chair then the bed, but they can't seem to grasp the two step process.
I am sleeping a little better - less time on the couch and last night I actually got back to sleep after Sage's 3 a.m. regular trip outside - the new bed must be making a difference.
Saturday is a big event for the shelter - the annual See Spot Walk. I'll be working at the Clinic booth where we'll have a vet administering rabies and dog vaccines. We are expecting over 1000 people with their pets - there will be about 25 shelter dogs there that we're hoping will be adopted. We're going to be in Julia Davis Park in front of the bandshell - the walk will be up Capital Boulevard - The weather should be around 75 degrees and with the trees turning on their fall display it should be a very pleasant day.
Ok - tired now - I'll blog you later.
